dumb question on tank building

Does the sides rest on top of the bottem pane of glass or around it, lol probably the most basic thing

Anyway on with my plans i wana make a tank that is a squared off horseshoe shape that i can fit around a comp monitor.

Yeah that might be a dumb question (no offence I have asked much dumber :duh: ) However that is a awsome idea going around your comp. :pc: .......Will you let me know how it goes?


B.T.W. the water goes inside the aquarium not on the outside. LOL.... :laugh: ......Just kidding.
 
There may be heat issues if it's a CRT monitor; But definately a good idea.

Why would you want to have it behind the monitor? You would never really see it, and it would probably be a pain to clean back there. Also You would run the risk of getting water on the monitor when you did water changes. I think a small tank on either side would be a better option than a U shaped tank.

Im sure the has a flatscreen monitor for this project. And if thats the case it sounds like a awsome idea...................HEY it would be awsome to find a screensaver to fit the theme. YEAH COOL :joe: :clap: :D
