Hi i remember when i was younger about 10 years ago i have a couple of pairs of dwarf angle fish in my tank but now i cant find any reference to them anywhere were these a fluke breed or do they exist just very hard to get hold of?

any help or knowledge with this will be amazing thanks.

P.s I'm talking Freshwater angels.

i figured it would be something like that as i have had a pair of mollies in the past that for some unknown reason the fry only ever got to around 1 inch long in a large tank.

I think if there were dwarf angels, someone here would have heard about them. I personally don't think they exist. JMO.

Dwarf Cichlids or juvenile Angels maybe.

Just young angels maybe? Or even something like black skirt tetras, something that looks a little angelfishy. Or even stunted angelfish. I have never heard of dwarfs though...would be nice!

Ive managed to contact the store i acquired these from years ago and they actually remember them (small family run store) the owner advised me they were spawn of a breeding pare he kept in the display tank and for some reason never grew to full size however the spawn of the small angles always seemed to grow to full size so once that breeding pair died so did the dwarfs.

perhaps if anyone else has experienced anything like this before then we may be able to work out a pattern and possibly get these in the market?

Pteraphyllum leopoldi are often referred to as dwarf angels. I have four of them. Lovely little guys.
