Dwarf Cichlid ?'s

I'm really liking Apistogramma trifasciatum, do you guys think males would fight? (2 males, 4 females) tank would be planted.

anyone know a good tip to spawning Apistogramma trifasciatum?

If you want a smaller (males max out around 5", females maybe 4") SA species that does well in cooler temps I have a load of oblongum juvies growing out now. They should be pairing off in a couple more months. Very mellow fish, get along great with just about any other species that won't beat the snot out of them. Not sure about a planted tank though, I just grow Najas and frogbit in mine.

I'll defintely look those guys up, what temperature do you keep them at?

I keep them in the low-mid 70's most of the time. I moved the pair into an unheated 29 in the basement the last time they spawned to save the fry, then back into the 75 with the severums, pleco's, etc. after the tank started getting crowded by the growing fry. The juvies are in unheated tanks in the basement now, but the temp doesn't seem to affect them much either way.
