I'm interested in purchasing a dwarf flag cichlid for a new tank I'm in the process of cycling. It's a 55 gallon tank that I plan on having community fish and I like it to be planted. The dwarf flag cichlid (laetacara curviceps) looks mighty appealing. I was wondering if it's ok to purchase only one of them and is it wise to purchase it online or not. Every place I've looked online says their out of stock so I was also wondering if there's a best time of the year to purchase. Thanks for your suggestions.

im not sure about time to purchase but generally any "curviceps" strand is good with comm fish. they are generally shy peaceful fish... unless provoked
