My Dwarf Flame has had a small hole in his tail for a few weeks but I was assured that it would probably heal itself. He has been a little less aggressive at feeding time lately too. Last night he took a very quick turn for the worse and I was shocked to see him like this. the hole is larger and his head sort of paler, bubly and turning pinkish/white. I've been reading and I'm still not sure of a diagnosis and I'm desperately hoping someone here can advise how to treat.
In the tank with him are 3 Rosy Tetras, 9 Neon Tetras and 3 Oto's. All other fish seem fine. I do 30% water changes weekly and water tests are all normal. I set up a hospital tank using filter material from another tank last night and will move him in today with whatever treatments I might have advised to me here. Thanks in advance!!
