QCppg - I'm assuming that by "african" you mean dark colored?? When you said:
"I have three dwarf frogs in my amphibian tank (two African, one albino"
Also, are you positive that you have African
dwarf frogs and not African
clawed frogs? The reason I ask is that albino dwarf frogs are incredibly rare and are almost never seen. ON the other hand, albine clawed frogs are fairly common.
Are their front feet webbed or unwebbed?
- As for the question, african dwarf frogs do like somewhere dark to hide and can go a little nutty without one. They should only be kept with peaceul tankmates as they cannot defend themselves. making sure that ADF's are properly fed can be the biggest "hassle" that accompanies owning them. They cannot see very well at all and do not compete for food well, by any means. If kept in a tank with other fish, care must be taken to ensure that the frog gets its share of food - or it will be underweight or starved.
Bloodworms fed through a turkey baster, syringe, etc seems to be the best way. Some will eat from your hand (mine will). This way you can see the frogs up close to monitor their health, make sure that they're eating, and get to "play" with them

(Here's one on African Clawed frogs - which get MUCH larger and are incredibly aggressive, but look similar when young):
