Dwarf Gourami Q Tank

I want to buy a dwarf gourami and quarantine it in a 15 for a few weeks. Should I add anything to the tank besides some floating plants, a heater, and a filter?

Never kept fish in a Q tank before but this time I think it's too risky to introduce anything to the tank. Too much hard work put into the tank, as I'm sure most of you feel like.

Think I will have any compatibility problems with endlers in the tank?

Ok thanks! What about plants and things? I'm assuming they will make it feel more comfortable.

It can be completely bare or decorated, either way you prefer. I prefer to have some plant cover. Just don't overdo things in case you have to medicate, it's easier the more basic it is.
