i have approx. 1 3/4 inch dwarf gourami, while visiting my LFS i saw what they had labled as a neon blue dwarf gourami which i know is just a variation of Colisa Lalia, i also saw a honey gourami and dwarf gourami of a yellowish color (its not a gold gourami). and i was wondering if i could mix my dwarf gourami with the neon blue, honey, and other dwarf gourami, i know they are peaceful but im not sure how they act towards eachother.

I think you should be fine with other types. They can be a little rough towards each other but nothing to really about it. I would just be careful not to add gouramies that will get alot bigger than the dwarfs.

yes i agree stick with variations to the dwarf gourami, and try not to put all males in there if you can. Just make sure what your putting in there isnt a variation of the three spot gourami, because i have a 5 inch gold gourami and it killed my two dwarf gouramis that i had had for years:(

It's worth a try...

I had two honeys and a "powder blue" dwarf (which I think is probably like your neon blue) that got along fine. When the blue dwarf had an accident I replaced it with another that didn't really tolerate the honeys. He didn't hunt them down by any means, just went at them when nearby. Good luck.
