Well i have 4 mid sized sunset honey gouramis, and i was thinking of maybe adding a dwarf breeding group to the tank (gouramis are my fav!). Check my sig, i kinda felt i might be fully stocked. I've watched my friend's dwarf and his is a tad agressive, would it boss my other gourami's around? Well any thoughts are welcomed

IMO, you could add them without overstocking the bioload. However you already have almost all mid-dwelling fish. I don't know the dimensions for a 55gal, but this could mean swimming space is a problem.

Aggression shouldn't be a major problem as any aggression would be spread among the others. Make sure there are enough hiding places, especially tall plants like giant vallis. You should be ready to move the dwarf gouramis if aggression is a serious problem.

you know you're kinda right, it does seem like all my fish hang out in the mid level of my tank, it's planted heavy with tall swords too...maybe more top level fish. I've always liked hatchetfish...

my danios are top dwellers...so it seems!! NEVER on the bottom or hardly the middle! :) I see that you only have 3! Maybe add a few more to make it 7! They are so funny to watch in groups!! :) or platies...my fave!! go in ALL parts of the tank! :)
