I got a red/brown dwarf lily about a month ago. It's now full of nice large leaves, with a total height of about 8". Usually, it's been putting out a leaf every couple days. Last week it started putting out a streamer. this leaf has taken over 1 week to now reach the top of the tank and open. Of course it hasn't had any other growth during this time, and this leaf is more round than spaid shaped.
If I leave this leaf there, will other leaves now start growing that tall or will they go back to being compact? Will this leaf stunt the plant if I leave it, slow down future growth? Also, it has roots about half way down, can I trim it and plant it, even though it has no bulb? What should I do? I wanted it short and compact and bushy, it's in the front of the tank. 1 long leaf is fine, but not if they're all gonna grow to the sky!
