so i was reading this article in a magazine and ive finally decided what i want in my empty 26g(dwarf lionfish). The article says that lions enjoy groups so i was wondering if i could put 2 or 3 in my 3'-10"-18" 26g. Im not sure what species id get but propably fuzzy dwarfs or candy cane dwarfs or maybe both. any advice is appreciated

i would not do groups in a 26 as it is too small and the lions are too messy of eaters so you'd be doing water changes like every other day on a tank like that. if you could get a 55 you may do 2-3 in there

Cute...

would need at least a 60 gallon for a group and with a good skimmer. i have always kept mine alone and they do great.
60 would be a stretch for that group. Though lions don't need groups. Also you could only fit a fu manchu lion in that tank. If I had a tank that size I would look for an angler.

Nice picture!

I think you and me read that same article. On the cover it said "tame the lionfish" right?
