Dwarf Puffers

if you've got snails then you're in business....they breed on the avalibility of the amount of food they have. I feed my shrimp algae wafters and shrimp pellets and anything left over the snails clean up...and take care of themselves. Like I said if you have the snails you're in business

I thought the overgrowth wasn't an issue mainly because DP's are pretty shortlived? How long is the lifespan, like a year or two?

My DP's get frozen bloodworms, I can't get them to eat much else.

I think that they are pretty short lived, but I still think they can get overgrown incisors. Right now mine are only eating snails, they wont take bloodworms, but i might try some blackworms later

Their lifespan is ~ 5 years, maybe longer, which is short-lived for puffers. They have not been in the hobby much longer than that, so it will be some time before we have full information, but five years is more than enough time fro incisor issues to develop, by a factor of at least 10x. They are, in any case, the least demading puffer known in this country on dental issues.
