dwarf/pygmy tank

pygmys will have to wait till next week :( should i move my 5 harlequin rasboras over so that the bacteria doesnt slim down?
how does this stocking look?
4-6-ottos(love these guys for some reason)
6-pygmy corys
10-ghost shrimp(will they pose any threats to blue pearl shrimp?)
endless blue pearl shrimp
 
That's a lot of fish for a small 10g tank. Get either corys or otos. You're better off with corys though since otos will most likely need algae which the shrimps would also like. If not enough algae, your going to have to feed vegetables. Not sure about glass shrimps but I remember reading somewhere that certain glass shrimps can eat neo. shrimp.
 
ok and the glass shrimp you are refering to arent glass shrimp they are a different species that have red claws and get larger.

Petco and Petsmart label their items wrong sometimes so I would make sure you have the right ghost shrimps. Corys are safer with shrimps but if you plan on getting nano fishes, is your tank heavily planted? You should add/grow out plants before adding shrimps so they can hide from the fish.
 
Get a decent sized piece of mopani or possibly cholla wood, and tie java moss to it. The nooks and crags in the mopani/cholla will grow a tasty biofilm and the java moss will give great cover. Once your males reach a certain size, they will have no problems cruising around with nano sized fish, and the females, especially ones holding, will hold to the areas with moss and cover.
 
i have it i guess lightly-mediumly planted right now but i have some rocks they can fit under but fish couldnt. the shrimo wont be added until maybe a month or 2. so i think i have enough time to let plants grow. if i can find a small enough piece of wood that i like ill add it.
