I have a friend who's father decided to invest in a marine aquarium. They wanted to buy 'Nemos', the oscelated clownfish, for the tank and they've gone through three of them already. The father did water tests and lots of research and he's baffled. They have anemones in the tank and a few other fish (I don't know what species) and live rock. Could it be a parasite or clown-specific disease? I'm more of a Freshwater owner, so I wasn't sure what to make of it when she asked me for help.

there are countless things it could be pretty much. we weould need to know any symptoms of the fish before the died. what they looked like once they died. water parameters, all other tankmates, how they were aclimated, etc, etc, etc

Are all these fish coming from the same store? It wouldn't necessarily mean the store is following bad practices but maybe their supplier. Can you get all the parameters? How was the cycle accomplished? Is he only using RODI water? What all is in the tank? How is the filtration of the tank accomplished? It really could be a myraid of problems that is why I am asking so many questions.

Oh, I understand completely!! ^__^;; It's probably as bad as when someone who doesn't know FW walks in with their own 'my fish died' story. When I see her at work again, I'll ask. I appreciate you guys being willing to help!! :)

Make sure you get test results, and maintnence schedule!!
