Hi all,
I’ve just joined and we’re setting our freshwater back up after a long nap. Our son wants to get it going again and personally I’m very happy about this.
We have the unit in our basement and I have plumbed water to the tank for filling it up. All we have to do is turn the valve on and it starts filling. Very easy and much appreciated as I have done the 5 gallon bucket more times then I care to count.
I am interested now in getting some type of sump pump that I can flip a switch and it will carry the water off through a hose overhead to our basement sump pump. I have tried doing a search but the search engine seems to be acting up on me.
I want to be able to have the pump on the top side of the tank with a rubber hose, ½ or 5/8 inch and run it up through the ceiling tiles over to the utility room. We have a similar type pump for the HVAC, humidifier/AC drain that triggers on fill up and carries the water off to the sump pump. If I can get something reasonable and not have to deal with the water buckets, I’d really like the convenience.
Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Tommy
