Easy Life Plants

yes, take them out of the pot and remove the rock wool (the foamy stuff the roots grow in). that stuff is for growing the plants hydroponically (without soil) so is impregnated with all kinds of nutrients. If you put the whole pot, rock wool and all, in your aquarium, it will result in massive algae blooms. It happened to me.

hmmm, I think this is a good possibility for me. I bought a bunch of plants after I up-dated my lighting and kept the foam wrapped in lead around the stems and planted them that way. I am now getting a huge algae bloom. Thanks! :bowing:

hmm

Let us know when you get them, I am thinking about ordering my fish from them as their feather fin squekers are much cheaper then anything around here. Plus, there is the attraction of a EBJD, even if they are hard to get to survive until they hit 4-5".

I bought the 10g package but used some of the plants in my 20g tank
my 10g tank i still need 2 rearange the plants but i'll do that later on been real busy. The bunches they sent me were huge so i made smaller batches.

I think I've read that Japanese Fans aren't true aquatic plants.

Actually just looking through the site they sell it on and they have it listed as a a bog plant.

from azgardens.
B = BOG PLANTS - Ideal for very wet environments as their roots love being wet or submersed indefinitely, as long as the plants leaves are above the water. Submersing the whole plant will kill it.

I'd be pissed.

I've bought plants online once and I do believe it was from these guys but I didn't do a package. All my other plants have come from other forum members, either in trade or for a shipping charge. I doubt I've paid $130.00 for my plants and I have more variety than their package gives.

I would have to disagree with them selling you bloodstar grass (aka Didiplis Diandra) as a lowlight plant, as it is definitely a high light plant.

I have some in a 40gal @ 3wpg and the best I can say is it does ok. It does well in my 20gal long @ 5wpg. My guess it will start to deteriorate or grow very "leggy" at best unless you have high light.
