Eating Balut for the first time (baby duck eggs) Gross-out Factor applied!!!

It is a cultural thing. Wouldn't be disgusting at all if it's something we're raised with.
 
I have tried it, it's not that bad once you get over it mentally. I added pepper,salt and also had a beer with it. Saw it on fear factor and had to try it for myself.
 
i would just wonder where one buys balut.

hmm...wonder if the Asian market has it. they have "1000 year old" eggs, so why not?
 
Raw oysters. Delicious, but disturbing to swallow.
