EBJD Gene

I have a tank of several Jack Dempsey's that carry the electric blue gene. 2 of the have already paired and I have a zillion babies. My question is do the
babies now all carry the EB gene as well? I have EBJD's that were to mate with the JD gene ones but they did there thing before I had a tank setup to
pair them off.
