Ebo-jager users, read

After reading so many complaints about this model, Im going to send it back to bigals and get a different heater, probably a tronic.

1st I hate all heaters.But I'm forced to use them and all my tanks (16)have ebos from green models to blue tops.Every other brand has failed for me.never one ebo EVER they dont seem to be calibrated right but thats not what I'm conserned about them failing in the on posistion that is what keeps me from buying other models.
BTW what ever you buy dont get the rena cal ablolute junk.

Which do you guys prefer, tronic or visi-therm?

i use visi-therms on 2 other tanks with no problems. easy to set, and they work. i have never owned a tronic, but i do hear good things about them.
