no, you have to modify the Eclipse hood in order to fit an HOB filter. That means you would have to somehow cut a hole away from the back. I would recommend against doing so, as it would certainly void your warranty. I was also thinking of getting an Eclipse myself. I've heard good things about them, like that their flow rate is pretty good. The only thing I'm wary of, is that because it's an all-in-one, that you can't modify components to your liking. Which is exactly what you're finding out here.
Hmm, now that I've seen this thread, it may sway my decision to upgrade my light fixture and filter one at a time. I have more options that way...
