I have one Joker (or King) Sulawesi snail, and prior to purchasing him, the seller warned me they would probably crawl out of the tank. Due to the awesomely cool nature of them, I ordered the one he had left anyway. Well, now it keeps trying to crawl out and I'm afraid it will dry itself out.

Have any of you had a similar situation, and if so how do you keep the little spaz from offing himself?

Other sulawesi snails in the same tank are doing just fine.

Yep, you're just going to have to have the tank enclosed with only small spaces for equipment to go through.

The thing you have to keep in mind about these snails is that they're not the same as the similiar-looking Tylomelanias. They're an amphibious species of Cerithidea which comes from brackish areas.

For some reason, my snails don't get out of the tank if the tank is too spacious but they seem to get out if tank is rather small. My small tanks are all enclosed with a lid but the larger ones where I keep my goldfish in as well are not.

They have a similar shell in shape but the constitution of the shell if a little thin for a brackish snail
