eel tailed catfish

can u please tell me abit about the eel tailed catfish?
i was just wondering because i got spiked by a one and my foot some what still is very sore.
just also wondering how bad and deadly they can be?

Clean the wound as well as you can, use iodine or some antibacterial agent.
Catfish spines are not poisonous, but apparently are dirty and lead to infection which is probably the cause of your soreness.

some one told me that they are posinous and also just seeing if there spikes can come off and can stay in my foot?

Same idea as a pictus, the spines are the bony ridge attached to the fin

AFAIK, they aren't poisonous. You'll be fine. If it really starts to hurt or swells then call a doctor.
