I have a 120 gal long. i want to put three eels in the tank 2 tire track and 1 fire eel. does anyone see future fights/deaths with three eels?

also is a freshwater moray eel really freshwater?

1) Eels usually do not fight, but they do need a deeper gravel to hide in.

2) The FW moray is really a Breakish water species. Will do much better with some salt added.
 
I don't think that fighting will be a problem as long as there are plenty of hiding spots and a good, deep sand or gravel bed. If there are a limited number of hiding spots, they might fight over territory.

The "Freshwater" moray eel is brackish and some species sold as FW are full marine.

thanks for the inport there are alot of hiding spots in the rocks. the sand is about 3-4 inchs deep. so is that "deep sand"

if i where to put the 1tsp of salt for every 5 gallons or whatever it is. could freshwater fish live in that setup. i.e. Cichlids, cats and other common freshwater fish?
 
That depth should be fine.

You would have to use marine salt to keep the FW moray, and the other fish wouldn't be able to tolerate a brackish tank
