Cut some of the cross bars out so they can get in...? But with adequate sized hiding spaces, I don't know why you would need to.

so here is what im thinging if i do this. there was a ealier thread on a homemade glass top made to slide one over the other. if i done the complete top couple inches of the tank with 2 pieces of eggcrate i was thinging of useing strips of magnets for it to set on. thought of this at work because they have bars of it lets say 1/4 by 1/4 by 12. use it like the algea cleaners. me and my son are the only two who see it so maybe 3 3 inch pieces across the front 1 inch down from trim? any better ideas? not going to get the magnets from work by the way.
