I got some plants at the fish auction a few weeks ago.. I had them planted and i noticed white egg-looking-things on the leaves. mostly were all lined up and not bunched together. I would get pictures, but they're not there anymore. Which makes me wonder if that's where the baby snails came from that I keep seeing? Hmm.. Suggestions?

Yeah. But these werent in jelly, they were just little white eggs, lined up in a row, on some spiral val leaves

If they were in little square packets with one egg in the middle its probably a assassin snails

my nerites leave eggs like that. but they have (?) to be in salt water to hatch.

Nerites leave eggs that look like sesame seeds in a line, so it could have been those. Def not mystery snails as they lay their eggs out of water in big pink clutches. could be assassin snail eggs. If it was nerites, they may have hatched and just won't survive if it is a FW tank. Nerite eggs do hatch in FW, the water just lacks the salinity to sustain the babies. If it is assassins, congrats on the assassins.

They did look like sesame seeds in a line one 2mm in front of the other. Maybe! I got some babies crawling around in the tank. Too small to see what type so far though.
