Eggs? Whose?

They look kind of gross but I think they are eggs in a sac. I don't have any snails otherwise I would think its them. They are atatched to a plant at the lower part of the aquarium. I'm also treating for ich and did a half dose of salt last night 1tsp/g (it got late) and am doing the other half today. Something prefers slight brackish water?

Here was my conclusion. The guppies are livebearers so they are out. The rams don't lay eggs like this so they are out. The gourami is only one and male so he is out. The frogs are male and female but I doubt it was them?? I would think with the salty conditions and being timid they would take a long time to warm up to each other. I doubt it was the bamboo shrimp, one just molted and has been shier than the other and don't they carry eggs anyway? Doubt its them. I thought rummy's and cories were scatterers so I don't know. My conclusions is I have a mystery fish! Hehehehe ok Master Aquaria, who laid my eggs?

Don't know who laid the eggs. Could be unhatched snail eggs but that is a speculation. It also could be the Tetras. If I recall you mentioned having kH problems during the fishless cycles (You could have soft water though my water is pretty high in mineral content and has a low kH also). You also inject CO2 which makes the water more acidic. Soft acidic water is exactly what tetras like in order to spawn. They could have scattered the eggs one morning and this specific clump was not eaten. Yet again speculative.

PS: When are we going to see a picture of the entire tank?
 
I'm having issues learning how to take decent pictures... I also think it looks funny without all the plants that I will be adding. I'll take some pics but I can't seem to get any good ones of the fishies. Not to mention one of the cats thought they could get teh fish if they could take the background down, so its halfway hanging off. AND I have tea water but I know that isn't a bad thing just my driftwood.

If they are tetra eggs thats really kind of neat but I heard they are hard to breed. I do have slightly acidic water naturally without the co2 and your right my kH is low so my water is very soft, something I have to watch out for. I will leave them alone then if theres a chance its tetras. I thought they looked kind of snail like but I've looked EVERYWHERE for snails and I don't see anything other than one itty bitty teany thing that looks like it would be way to young (I can barely see it!).
 
I was under the impression that tetras were egg scatteres. They usually lay their eggs in spawning mops or java moss. However your conditions are pretty good for spawning with the soft water and the tea tea water. It reminds them of their water back home and makes them more likely to spawn. I used tea water when trying to breed my gourami's.

Have you bought any plants recently? Snails can be hard to spot sometimes. I know Im still picking out pond snails out of my tank after I emptied the tank and washed everything off and put in a new substrate!

Also, if might be a type of fungus.

On your camera, do you have a macro button. It would look like a flower, kinda like a tulip. It might help you get a clearer up close picture.

Ok I can set the ISO to 400 and turn the flash off. I have the macro turned on. But I can't seem to alter the shutter speed. It says at the top F2.8 1/30 but no where can I seem to alter that, except changing it from A to S which makes it F2.8 1/800 which I know I don't want. But I can't seem to alter that myself. Hmmm. What would it be called?

I see 2 itty bitty teany tiny snails from new plants. But I can't find any that are big enough to have produced such a large sac. Also at the water line there is a small bubble of what appears to be eggs. This is a fraction of the size of the one I have pictured and comletely white instead of off-color. I'm not even sure they are eggs.
