msjinkzd= with this pair that came out of the ten discus they are with, my maintainance was pretty much every other day to every 2 days at a 70% w/c. Non aged water straight from the tap with dechlor. I bought them at the end of january from cary strong at great lakes discus and make my own food for them, when they were small i would feed them a lot.. pretty much as much as they could eat around 4 times a day, i varied their diet with mainly my special food, tetra bits, and omega one flake food.
Note: i did not have to do waterchanges everyday because there was rarely food left over to spoil the water since their appetites were so strong. They would eat everything i put in until they looked like they would explode
here they are in jan in my 40 gal the tanks have a very small layer of sand in the bottom since they were scared through the bottom at the inside of the stand for some reason
