those of you who give your snails eggshells, how do you prepare them? i imagine you don't just dump the yold and albumen out and toss the shells in the tank :lol2:

Rinse the egg shells and get the egg membrane out of it carefully as it does rot in the water. You can pound the eggshells to powder form. It is easier this way for the snails to ingest them and dissolve in the water. It dissolves quickly if your water is acidic.
