is this good for a 72 gal bow with a oscar 2 jd 2 green torrors
cause if so right now i have a fluval 405 and the eheim 2026 on it now

I would get a Eheim 2260 for that many fish in that size of tank.
How big are all of them?

yeah well i have the 405 and the 2026 running now is that good
oscar 12 inches
jd both 6 inches
green terrors 6 inches
one pleco and a lil catfist its over stocked i know but i grew them from like 1 inch all of them

Yeah,it should be ok. I would want more, and a bigger tank.

I know nothing about the filter...

...but I like your avatar. :thud:

yea your filter set up sounds fine.

Are you asking if the Eheim 2026 is good enough alone on that fish tank, or are you asking if it's a good addition to the Fluval 405?

If alone - I would say no. I don't think it would be enough filtration on its own.

It is only rated for 80 gallons or so, and you're pretty heavily stocked.

If you're asking if it's a good additional filtration device with the Fluval 405 - then I would say absolutely!

Your tank is horribly overstocked. No matter what or how much filtration will help that. You posted in another thread that one of your GT's is chasing the other. This does not sound like breeding behavior.Especially if the male is the one being chased. It sounds like territory issues, and it will get worse.Get a bigger tank or get rid of some of your fish.

Cichlids chasing and harassing other fish is normal.
