I would like to know if a eheim 2213 gives enough filtration for a 30G or will i have to get a 2215? I know the 2215 will be better, but will the 2213 be enough? My 30G is moderatly/heavily stocked so i was wondering if i have to keep saving for the 2215.

The only filtration I use on my planted 75 gallon is the Eheim 2217. Keeps it very clean but it is heavily planted and not too heavily stocked. I only clean it about every 3 months.

I have a 2213 on my 29g. I found that it made enough current i had to reorient the spray bar to keep my cardinals happy. I am heavily planted, and although right now i have a very light load in there, I regret the 2213, and wish i would have gone a step higher in retrospect. While i have no solid evidence of it lacking or anything, I can't help but think larger would have been better.

I use the 2213 on my moderately planted/heavily stocked 20 gallon tanks and I think it's just right for that size tank. If I were to set up a 30 gallon, I'd go with the 2215.

I use a 2213 on a 47 gallon but I have leaf fish which dont want much water movement but the filter keeps the water crystal clear. Keep in mind though that I've only got 3 leaf fish and at any given time, maybe 3-5 small feeder fish and/or ghost shrimp so its not a heavy load.
