Eheim 2213

I got a 2213 for £3, £3!! would you belevie it, i dunno what media to get though or how it goes in, im not familiar with this model :S

Ill get ceramic rings, what else is needed, does anyone have this filter?

You'll need ehfisubstrat, which is the biological media, a coarse blue divider (I don't know what Eheim calls it) to insert between the ceramic rings and the ehfisubstrat, and some filter wool for the top as well.

Ok what about thse circular bits, where do they go, between what? and do i use a whole box of ceramic rings?

I have a Eheim 2213 and i love it. Checkout the website for suggestions on filter media setup. www.eheim.com. Mech (ceramic noodles) goes first 1 1/2 inches. Then the course blue pad, then on top of that goes the substrate about 4" of it, then the white fine filter pad. You can then put the thin black carbon pad on top if u want. You'd have to take it out after 2 weeks though. The rest is good for 6 months.
