Eheim 2217 Leak

Dah - I get it now. I put a piece of tissue around that connection and that's not where it is leaking. It is just below the coupling where the eheim tubing attaches. I talked to the supplier (DFS) and they said they would get in touch with Eheim and get a replacement part.

I just bought a replacement Q.D. fitting for my 2217 due to a similar problem. Mine has an invisible (to me) hairline crack where the barbed portion meets the nut threads. I tried repairing the crack with PVC glue and it held for about 3 weeks before leaking again. The fitting that leaked was almost 4 years old.
