I don't know what you are planning in stocking, or what type of filter you want, so it's hard to say. Naturally, you will probably want to over-filter, which never hurts. Go ahead and give us a loose stock plan and type (HOB, canister) and someone will probably know.

I was thinking canister. My tank is heavily planted with about 24 tetras.

Get the 2015. The 2013 does not move enough water to properly filter a 29 gallon.

I've successfully run a 2213 on a 29, but I feel better with a 2215. I've also run an Ecco rated for a 60 gallon on a 29. I'd stick with the Classic line, however.

Thanks everyone. I had been looking at the 2213, but now I think I will go with the 2215.
