Hey guys/girls.
I've decided to completely change my setup as my new tank will not need the quality of water a reef tank would.
I have a 90G tank, going to be a FOWLR "predator" type tank. I'm pulling the sump system out as it's too loud and have decided to go with a canister filter/protein skimmer.
I just came across a pretty good deal and purchased a Eheim Pro II 2028 for $299cad with a free ebo jager 250w heater. It's still brand new in it's packaging and have now been pondering the Fluval FX5. I'm looking for a canister filter that will best suit my needs. The Fluval is a high capacity filter rated for 400G whereas the Eheim is rated at 158G. I've found the Fluval for $299 as well.
Anyone have experiences with either filter?
Thx!
