Got one recently, and only just got round to installing it as I had to take loads of water out to move the tank forward 1". Anyway, connected it all up but I can't for the life of me add the spray bar to the other pipe. :mad2:

I believe I have the standard green spraybar kit (and can't find the optional kit in the UK) but both green pipes are the same diameter!?! The bar with the holes has an end with 2 curves in it, and the other end is flush (for the stopper to go in). From the diagrams, the end with curves appears to go into hooped pipe, but it really doesn't look physically possible. Even tried putting the hooped pipe in bioled water, and the holey pipe in the freezer - but didn't work.

Am I missing something, or doing it wrong? :help:

Cheers

your best bet is to throw out that green crap and use the gray sectioned spraybar.. much easier to use, and much more customizable. you can find it on ebay.

You attach them using a short piece of the green flexible hoses that come with the filter and are used for the run from intake to filter and from the filter back to sprabar. About 1 inch is all you should need.

IIRC Eheim has a 12/16mm kit and a 16/22mm kit, you want the larger one.

Even if you fit the green spraybar I *strongly* recommend getting the installation kit. It's high quality, more secure in the tank and it's almost invisible compared to the nasty old green one.

It's not April 1st already is it :)

You need to do what TwoTankAmin said, or leave the spray bar off all together and just have the hook return the water.
