EI dosing math question

I was wondering how many ppm are you adding when you're do the EI dosing.

for example i add 1/4 tsp of KNO3 to a 29 gallon planted tank (around 25 gallons of water). If i test the water afterworld assuming my no3 was 0 before what should the no3 ppm be?

A quarter of a teaspoon of KNO3 weighs roughly 1.25 grams. 25 gallons of water is approximately 95 liters. 1250 mgs/ 95 liters is 13 ppm but only approximately 60% is NO3 so 60% of 13 is 7.8 ppm (or mg/l) say 8 ppm.
