EI Dosing

Anyone doing EI know if you have fish do you still need to dose KH2PO4? I have KNO3, K2SO4, CSM+B but no KH2PO4 although I do have fleet I don't know how much of that I would need in ML since it isn't a dry fert.

This is what's recommended for my 120g
100-125 Gallons
1 1/2 tsp KNO3 3x a week
1/2 tsp KH2PO4 3x a week
1/2 tsp K2SO4 3x a week
1/2 tsp (30ml) traces 3x a week (I think I've already screwed this up once or twice this week and did 1 1/2 for trace instead of the KNO3)

Yep:

More fish adds more ferts, but also has no impact on dosing.
Adding too little and having fish etc, is more critical however, but EI when done with good CO2, reasonable light intensity.......never should be an issue for fish/shrimp etc.

The only thing I have is Fleet at he moment any idea how many ML are needed for 120g to meet EI?

I don't use Fleet brand but mine would work out to about 12.5 ml for 1 ppm in 120 gallons, this seems to be fairly close to the amounts others dose.

The only thing I never added was K2SO4. I found that I was getting enough potassium dosing the others.

Thanks 12.5 ml is as good as any. I had added 4 ml earlier and then tested Po4 with a test kit before adding another 8ml after seeing your post. I was surprise to see Po4 barely registering less than a .25 not quite the same shade.

So after my 1st week attempting EI I've made several errors, either way my plants did have significant growth. I'll get it right this upcoming week.

@jpappay789 - from what I've read because I'm using fleet K2S04 is still required, but your right had I been using KH2PO4 I would not have to dose K2S04.
