I have 3 55 gallon aquariums set up in my home and in one I have an EB Jack and in another I have a standard JD...well I think that's what it is...it was sold to me as a Texas Cichlid when it was approx. 2 inches...but anyway I'm pretty confident that it's a JD. The question I have is this...does the EB JD have teeth or is the one I have some type of strange hybrid? I can plainly see its teeth but not the standard JD....wondering why they are so different. Any help would be appreciated.

My avitar is my Electric Blue. I will have to add some pics here in a bit.

Here are a couple of my EB JD...he's not as pretty as some I've seen but he is loaded with personality...plus I got his from $10 at my LFS.

You can see his teeth here.

In this one he's younger...

Here are a couple of my regular JD...I think it may be a female...

Well all fish have teeth, at least cichlid wise. Fish are like people not every ones the same hahaha I wouldn't worry about it.
