i did a google search and the results that i read arnt as fruitful as i thought theyd be. is it a lobster or a crayfish and will it eat other fish?

Cherax quadricarinatus? I am pretty sure it is actually a crayfish but I am probably wrong...
Any type of lobster/crayfish will go after fish and eat what they can catch. If you want to try mixing with fish I would avoid any other bottom dwellers and get quicker, top level fish. I personally wouldn't.

i dont think that's what they should be worth (i think theyre worth about 5 bucks) but 20 is the going price at most stores.
I agree, I wouldn't pay that. But if that is the best deal you can find than it seems like you're stuck with that price.
The problem with common names is that very rarely will you see the difference in labeling...many crayfish are locally called "lobsters" and vice-versa.
Electric Blue Lobsters are generally P. alleni or Cherax quads (occassionally it'll be P. clarkii). P. alleni is a bit more expensive to get your hands on than quads (places like crazycrays.com sell quads 3 for $15), and it's more aggressive towards tank mates. But uh, they're crayfish not lobsters. The use of lobster in the name is generally so stores can get around laws that would prohibit their sales (not always, but common enough... happens a lot in TX & WA with species in the cherax genus because they're restricted species), sometimes it's just the common name though (but that's not helpful either because they'll overlap with other species' names).
