I'm guessing the female was already paired and isn't goint to accept any other males. That's typical behavior that I've seen with some of my breeding pairs when a male dies.

Well, I hope that's not the case.. I mean she looks to be rather young, right along with my others.. but I guess I didn't think a 10g would be enough.. so that might be exactly what I'm going to do.. altho, it seems that catching her will be a whole different story =\ she seems to be pretty net shy.. all the others just come and swim right up into it.. but nope, not her *sigh*
I'm sorry, I guess for the time being I am going to keep her and try to get her a boyfriend and see if that makes her happy.. I mean, maybe she just doesn't like long hair? lol :

I would put her in the 10 gallon. People use 10 gallons as breeder setups all the time. At least for the time being. holy cow 17 rams what size tank is that?
