I was doing a water change just now. I unplugged it and after the water change I filled it with water and plugged it in...it didn't start! What should I do now??? Please need some advice...this ac70 is less than a year old!

Maybe try it again in a bit?

I don't know about AC but I have a HOB filter, that if I unplug/plug in too fast it seems to stall or something. If I leave it unplugged for a few minutes and try again it will start up...

Clean out the impeller area. Sometimes the build up prevents the impeller from turning.

would it work if i bust out my new whisper 40? i'm worried because the biomedia wont fit in it

If tank is cycled it's probly not as big of a deal as you think...but you could put the whisper 40 in and try to fit in as much of the old media in as you can, as well as the whisper biomedia...you can pull it out of the frame for this. skip the filter frame for now.

Remember:
..DON'T PANIC ;)

Use a chopstick or something long and thin and move the impeller while its plugged in. It works all the time for my whisper.

I wouldn't trust doing just that. What if your power goes out while your not home and it doesn't restart.

The impeller area needs to be cleaned, I'd also clean the intake tube.

I find with ACs especially smaller ones that its best to start them back up on the low setting then move it to high. This only matters if the suction has been broken.
