Emergency!! Need Help Now!

Hm, I only my original Pleco lived in the tank during my first treatment of Ich, he survived and is about 4IN long and still happy as a clam. ^.^ But ok. I will try to clear out the Livebearer 55g for them if I can. Though I've been adding meds to that tank regularly and I don't know how many w/c it'll take to clear it...

Well, I took out about 20L of water, replaced it with salted water. Caught about 4 Ghost shrimp, 3 snails and took out all the plants. I also caught the tiny baby that was growing in that tank because w/o the plants, other fish would see and eat it. It's now with my other fry, even though it's twice as big. All went into the Livebearer tank, I've been medicating it with QuickCure, took out about 20L and replaced it with freshwater. Hopefully it wont kill what I put in the tank. I didn't find the tiny Pleco, the big guy was happily sitting on his wood and I left him be for now. If I can find and catch the tiny Pleco, she will be moved to the Livebearer tank too.

:jaw-dropping: surely by adding anything from the infected ick tank to your live bearer tank you have just infected that tank too. ive never removed snails or plecs while treating with salt, and have never had an issue,my plants look a bit ill for a couple of weeks after treatment but soon pull through. ick can even be carried across on plants and decor you remove from your tank as far as i know. be prepared for large scale outbreak in anything you have swapped your inhabitants too from the ick tank. i would have simply added salt to the ick infected tank, upped the temp a little and left it as is as a closed system and treated it all in one. guess its too late for that now. fingers crossed you havent infected your other tanks-good luck.

I treated for ick in the Livebearer tank, so no issue doing it again. last time I used salt with plants, all the plants died, so I have to move them.

Isn't it true that Ick and other diseases are always present in your water and only attack/make themselves be known when your fish are in a weaken state...?

Ehhhh...that's an "iffy" issue as far as I know...

Found a brand called Kordon for fungus and ick, they say you can use it on all aquatic life, even invertebrates. I'm going to buy both and dose all my tanks just in case.

One of my Angels died, it was one that looked pretty ok. There's another with it's tail and top fin bitten, but she is ok. Angels are delicate in my opinion so far....
Maybe i can return them still...
the barbs and danio i will be trying to trade in for credit at a lfs, maybe the opalines too.
the little yellow male guppy is still swimming in place, but the fungus looks a tad better.
snails and shrimp are doing fine

I used Tetracyclene and it worked really well. I have heard Maracyn works too.

Not in the case of ick. The parasite can only exist in its free living state for a few days; if it doesn't find a host in that time it dies.
