EMERGENCY!!

yeh i just got back from the LFS and it IS a bubble tip anemone... he told me to not do any more water changes tho... what do u guys say? and how big of water changes?

i did 1, two days ago which was 30%
i just changed the carbon in my filter and was PLANNING on doing another WC today but was waiting for responses...
the params are still horrible :(

I've had multiple bubble tips go through my filtration system, and none of them have caused any harm.

Get the water clear, replace your carbon and relax a bit.

I don't even use test kits most of the time, I just watch my coral. But, without the coral you'll probably need the test kits. ;)

im surprised u didnt have anything happen Subliminal! my tank was WHITE i couldnt see the back of it! now its cleared up but my param's are still bad... changed my carbon already n im hoping i dont loose any more fish!

By the time it happened to my tank, it was pretty mature. Maybe my biological filtration was up to the task. I don't know.

The first time it happened, I was WORRIED.

The second time it happened, I was bummed.

The third time was last week, and it was almost a relief. That BTA had been moving around for a few days by then, and I was tired of worrying.

haha well i guess there is my answer!!
im just gonna lay back n stop worrying..

Well, keep your tank in check, just don't stress like it's the end of the world.

I wouldn't recommend just sitting around and watching stuff die, either. ;)

on top of water changes and fresh carbon, i would recomend something like BioSpira or Biozymes (marine bio bacteria in a dry form) to help with parameters
