Ok, so we finished putting the plumbing together and did a test run on it - pump worked AWESOME! 
I'm super excited! 
I took some pics but haven't loaded them yet. We took the pump and plumbing back out of the pond so we can finish painting it black, and then we'll put it back into the pond probably next weekend and be ready to start it running. Electric is supposed to be finished today or tomorrow so we'll have somewhere to plug it in without putting it on extension cord into the house.
We also have the rocks planned for delivery on the 11th, so we'll get those installed and then I'll be able to put clarifier in it, vacuum (it's VERY dirty at the moment from what's washed into it from the rain since nothing is surrounding the pond to keep the dirt out). Anyhow, at that point we'll officially be running filter and starting to cycle. Woot!
