Yes, IMO convicts are. Like other cichlids, they have alot of personality, and act more like dogs at times than typical fish. Mine used to eat out my hand, and would charge the glass when anyone came in the fish room. Great fish, and very easy to breed.
 
Jellybeans are a dyed fish and should be avoided
 
what are IMO convicts. and thank you convicts sond like a great choses but what do you guy think about green terrors?
 
IMO stands for In my Opinion.
 
IMO = In my opinion. GTs get larger than convicts do, and are probably not suitable for that tank. Something to consider. I also don't like them as much, but that's just my personal opinion.
 
does anyone have anything to say about green terrors or Tilapia buttikoferi. lol buttikoferi sounds like i word I made up but I think its a cichlid
