okay lol well now i have a new question is it okay to have a 20 gallon biowheel and a 30 gallon aquaclear in my 30 gallon? also how do i tell the gender between gouramis? What species should i add first? i was thinking neons, kuhlis then the pearl but idk any advice?
Gourami males have a pointed dorsal fin (top), females are more rounded. Pearl males over ~2 inches have an orangish chest compared to females. Either sex is ok alone.
The gourami's territory won't include the bottom where the loaches will be most of the time. Pearls are less denfensive than some gourami species too. The kuhlis are a bit more sensitive to water conditions so it's good to let the tank stabilize.
Beneficial bacteria & microorganisms need some time to grow on surfaces. It's what is meant by "established tank" not just cycled. It really takes at least 6 months but you don't have to wait that long.

How are you keeping it cycled? If you're putting in new substrate you will lose a significant amount of bacteria, lots of surface area. Loaches last as there will be little "bio-slime" built up where they spend most of their time.
I suggested the neons first as they are not always as hardy & healthy as other fish. Sort of like a quarrantine period without having to move them.
