I need to procure a couple, Petco always has a tank of dead ones. Anyone worked for or know their policies on giving them away?

Sure they don't build their own tubes? I'm pretty sure they do. Unless I'm thinking of something completely different lol.

You mean the hard tubes of Coco Worms?

I see what your talking about now. I've never had those so I knew nothing about them. I googled them and they seem to live on top of other tube worms casings, are those what your talking about? And I have no idea about getting any tubes for them. Sorry :)

Coco worm tubes would probably work as well. This page has a decent description of them http://animal-world.com/Aquarium-Coral-Reefs/Stick-Polyps I've had my current colony for a year or so, its got quite a few heads on it, I'm not sure how long the tubes last so I'm little concerned it may start breaking apart at some point soon. I've got a couple living feather dusters I thought about attaching small frags too the link indicates they sometimes attach to still living dusters but I don't want them to sting the duster.

Yeah they build on already existing cases, I bought them about a year or maybe longer ago with just 3-4 heads now its got about a dozen of them completely covering the original worms tube.
