hi there this morning when i turned on my hood for light, only one of my endler was being nibbles on. it looked a little different from the others endler now, and i could see the tail of its fin practically gone.

the fish i have in there are:
Clown Pleco fish
Harlequin rasboras
and more endlers

i also have shrimps but i dont think the shrimp could have done any of that

does anybody know which fish would nibble on my endlers? thanks for the help

ohh yea.. i also have one dario dario

i see. but what would provoke those fish now? is it because of territorial conditions? i am afraid that my other endlers will also get nibbled on. even the pectoral fins have been nibbled on. and that it looks a little pale now.

Could be aggression among the males. Do you hav females in the tank? If so how many males verses females do you have? What size is your tank?

unfortunately i am not very sure about the females and males. though my estimate ratio would be 3 males to 2 females. i could not determine the sex because they are fairly young, but some males i could see the colors already. i am currently using a 10G tank, starter size since this is my first aquarium. i have a heater and everything for the essential needs for these fish. but could a male be so viscous to the other males all the time? this male i took a picture of is just starting to develop its colors. some of my other males already have their colors fully devoloped.
thanks

after looking at my fishes even more.. i see white dots all over some of the fish now. mainly on males. im not sure if those are air bubbles or some kind of disaese

Do you have photos of these?

my digital camera isntthat great to see the detail. sorry. but they look like bubble spots though if that helps

You have a lot of fish for a 10. The crowding may be causing some aggression. The white dots could be ich. Try a quick search here in the forum, it is a common topic. The normal description is that it looks like so many grains of salt on the fish's body.
