I'm not interested in showing or anything of that nature. I've just been reading about how the pure endlers are getting rarer as they are threatened in the wild and as more and more of the aquarium population is hybridizing with guppies. Just trying to do my part to preserve them. I got intrigued with getting my stock from Swamp River, since he starts from wild-caught stock, but I haven't had any luck contacting him via email or Aquabid and he doesn't currently have auctions up for the kinds I like. If I can't get ahold of the guy and start with bona fide class Ns, then class Ps from reputable hobbiests would be fine with me.
Of course, I started this whole journey with feeder guppies for my turtle (which she didn't eat and never seemed to recognize as food and I have since rehomed)... and now I'm wondering if I really want to get fish that she might decide to munch on someday. Hmmm.
