I target feed my suncorals with that kent sea squirt... it works great for cyclopeeze but the hole isnt big enough to suck up brine shrimp.

Personally I think that lighting is just fine. I have less right now and I've got some mushrooms that seem to love my tank. basic mushrooms are very hardy.
As for the feeding aspect you could go with the feeder, or goto www.petsolutions.com and order the tank gloves that they have on clearence...
